  3. It makes me sad to see how Austin has become so liberal. Like many places, there are still many good folks there, but the influx of Snowflakes and idealistic students has really created a mess. Then of course there are the left leaning and full blown leftist politicians, who have created a mini-San Francisco in central Texas. And as is many (most?) of their kind, they have one set of rules for themselves and another for their constituents. Just look at Lupe Valdez - doesn't pay her property taxes, but wants to spend everyone else's money on her social engineering, which will benefit her politically and have no good effect on the people she says she is trying to help.

  4. That is a nice looking 1911, though - a but too much bling for my tastes, but I wouldn't sell it if someone gave it to me! And I'd certainly take it to a BBQ!

    1. It's definitely a BBQ gun, but it'd still kill a rattler as well as any.

  5. I wouldn't carry it. I would be scared of getting a scratch on it and sure as anything if I shot it I would screw up and put the idiot scratch on it when I cleaned it.

I will stick with my blued Colt Govt model. Lots of holster wear with a proper patina of regular use.
