      Thanks for all of these photos. They're a window into a past that almost nobody ever sees. The last time I saw anything like them was almost 50 years ago when my sister and I toured the west with my grandparents.

    2. HMS, that's one reason I like posting them. Few today know the real indian in any sense, and these photos help dispel that. It also brings out the humanity of the native Americans, I think, and helps me remember them as they were, not as Hollywood portrays them.
