Forest fires in California

This one is up by Foresthill, not too far from where we live.

Here is the smoke from this fire blowing over the Sierras into Reno, Nevada.  It's like a wall of stank.

  1. Please stay safe. Years ago when I lived in another place, the woods caught on fire. Terrifying, just terrifying.

    1. Thanks Chickenmom, I'm far enough away, and downhill, that I won't have a problem. These fires get bad when the wind blows them up canyons during the middle of summer, and that's what is happening with this one.

There is another pretty bad one burning down in the Tuolumne River drainage that needs to be put out pronto.
