The Nimitz class aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower and the guided missile destroyer Winston S. Churchill are replenished while underway and at sea by the oiler USNS Big Horn in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

  1. They make it look easy. Try that on a Gearing class tin can, at night, in heavy weather. And after you secure from taking on fuel you go alongside an AE to take on ammunition. Of course by now the sun is starting to come up. It is amazing to watch the Navy conduct unreps (underway replenishment).
