Over at the Ruger forum a poster just put up an awesome story about finding a remote Indian ruin in the Flagstaff area of Arizona. According to the poster, these ruins were inhabited by the Sinagua people until the early 1400's, and then abandoned for unknown reasons. Thus, these buildings have been vacant for upwards of 600 years, yet in many ways seem to be very recently abandoned.
First picture is the approach over the side of a rugged desert canyon.

6oo year old wood work, still stained black from campfires.

Potshards and used corncobs were still strewn on the floor.

What a story, and what an adventure!
