The unemployment rate in my favorite state, Nevada, is now at an astronomical 14.3%.

It seems to me that the political leaders in Nevada should take drastic action to bring jobs back. Changing the laws to make the state the most business friendly in the nation, and then professionally and aggressively marketing that to business, should be done right now. What they are currently doing obviously isn't working, and with pundits now saying that an 8% national unemployment rate might be the new norm, serious changes need to occur.

Will they? Probably not. Where indeed is Nevada's Doug Christie?
